FAQ
I did not receive an invitation, can I come?
Unfortunately, our venue has limited capacity. Attendance is by invitation only.
Can I bring my girlfriend / boyfriend / friend / child / brother / sister / pet?
Unfortunately, our venue has limited capacity, which is why there will be no plus ones at the ceremony and reception. Attendance is by invitation only.
What is the dress code?
Semi-formal: dress pants and shirts, skirt and shirt, mid-length dress, pantsuits. Please refrain from wearing white, beige or ivory dresses. Note that the ceremony will be held outdoors, weather permitting.
I am vegan / vegetarian, will there be food for me?
Make sure to specify in the RSVP section any dietary restrictions. There will be an option for both.
I am allergic to this; will I die at your reception?
Not if you make sure to mention it in the RSVP section. The venue we chose pride themselves on being very accommodating towards allergies and dietary restrictions.
Will there be alcohol?
Yes! Don't go overboard 😉
Will there be parking? How much will it cost?
There is parking at the back of the venue, which will be free for our guests. We will provide you with a voucher which you will need to exit the parking lot. If you lose the voucher, you will need to pay before exiting.
Do I need to bring a gift?
Gifts are appreciated, but not necessary. We don't have a registry because we already have too much stuff! If you do want to get us something, cash is always nice, or you may also make a donation on our behalf to Refuge pour chats de Verdun or SOS violence conjugale.
Will I be able to give a speech?
Shoot us an email, and we'll talk about it!
How many people will be there?
Between 60 and 80.

In the garden at L'Ambroisie, weather permitting, otherwise indoors.

What time should I arrive?
3:30 PM
Can I take pictures at your wedding?
Definitely feel free to snap a few shots during the evening, but try not to get in the way of the photographer who will cover the whole day. Please be mindful of others' privacy if posting them online. Send us your favourites! 😊
Can I mail back my RSVP?
No. We want to avoid it being lost in the mail. If you have trouble RSVP-ing online, don't hesitate to reach out to us and we will help you gladly.

August 8th, 2023.
Are there any colours you would prefer me not to wear?
Avoid wearing an all-white / -ivory / -cream / off-white outfit.
What time is the reception scheduled to end?
The venue requires the music to stop at midnight.
I don't like karaoke; do I have to participate?
Absolutely not! If you want to dance the night away on the dance floor and not sing karaoke, that is a-okay!
I don't like to dance; do I have to?
Absolutely not! If you want to sing karaoke instead, feel free!
